My buddy has a cur dog that is just now starting out. He doesnt range out far, and still has alot of puppy in him. When the other dogs bay, he will start running around barking like a retard. Alot of the time he will run the opposite way of the bay wide open! 

I think it is just due to his lack of experience, so we are gonna try to put him on a couple more hogs in the pen and on staged hunts before he goes on another " real " hunt.
