Everytime my wife says anything about why I "need" so many dogs, I just walk into her closet and start counting pairs of shoes.
When I finished building my kennels this past summer, I cut out and put on the kitchen table a picture of a brand new $50k Majek Xtreme boat. When she asked about the picture the next morning, I just told her how I wanted to show her how much money I had saved by deciding to build new kennels instead of the boat I was thinking about.
