son call me and let me teach u how to hunt ur dog dont need too go half a mile too catch a pig just catch a track and let the dog work for u all this bs my dog is long range is pure bs youngsters. I catch more within 100 yards than u do with in a mile
I have to agree with you hogbuyer...I like a close to mid range dog that will stay with a hog until it has been stopped but I don't like a dog that runs a .25 mile before it knows what it passed..."long range dogs" have many definitions..if they are b@lls to walls out of the truck they better know to pick up the track and not pass it trying to range out...
