Tnhillbilly, I think that it is a strong prey drive because I can't see any better conformation in them. They become very intent on getting a hog.


BigAinaBuilt, the late maturing that you are seeing may be coming from the lab side because we got our gsp x bmc's when they were around 3 or 4 months and had them hunting at 6 months. Of course that may be the bmc side. I can clearly see that our bmc's mature much faster than our catahoula's. Good Lord!!!! A catahoula before it turns two is like a rat on acid!!!!!!! LOL Or at least the line that we have is.
