I bet you the coyote nose would not be as cold as you would think. In the wild it would be pointless for a coyote to run a 10 hour track and waste its time and energy in something it would take a long time to catch. It would be easier and more effecient to walk by and to run the 10 minute old rabbit track or the neighbors cat. 

My stepdad caught one just weaned as a pup and his was so wild no one could get close to it or handle it even him. This one does not seem like that.
