The water makes for fun hunting.  Adds more to the adventure aspect.  I love a good adventure but I've also been in some flood situations that were just a little too much of it.  

Just so you know 1X4 lumber makes good paddles.  You can stash some 1x4's on all the places you might need to paddle a boat.  Boats are easier to find than paddles and old boards will lay around forever but paddles alwas seems to get up and walk away. .  

Was the the Navasota or Trinity bottom?
