I dont no why but my dogs didnt go outtwo miles and guess what we caught pigs why does every one want a dog that leaves the country and passes up hogs.
For some reason it seems like a good deal of your 40 posts on this forum are knocking or discounting the fact that some people own deep hunting dogs. Honestly, for me personally it not about the distance my dogs travel, but about the fact that whether it's walking, roading or whatever I shouldn't have to lead them there.
Believe it or not, a dog that ranges out and actually leaves out hunting doesn't necessarily pass up hogs to do so. What that dog does is KEEP going when there are no hogs near. It's called hunting drive...something I believe most people conveniently overlook (or simply don't understand).
