 You can also contact the game warden in that area and they should be able to tell you if it is legal to run dogs in that piticular area. I talked to the shnf and they said the tx parks and wildlife stoped the hog doggin in the shnf b/c it wasn't helping cut down on the hog population. I contacted my state rep, senetor and congressman and they all siad they would look into it and see what can be done, but the txpwd have the final say so on hunting laws.
