I have not been on for a while and when I saw this topic again about the flounder and gigging...well, I took my grandson to the Sea Center in Lake Jackson and went on the tour of the hatchery's. We got to see all the fish from eggs up to big reds, the trout and they have just started to reproduceing flounder...It was pretty neat to see and learn especially what the eye on the red fishes tail meant..Just FYI if you ever get to Brazoria county that is a neat place to take your kids and grandkids to see and learn about fish.....I'm sure they have places like the Sea Center :)in other place in the state....good learning experience for all...
