Mandi, myself, and our neighbors, Raul and Maria, just got the majority of our CO-OP garden planted yesterday.  Just so everyone knows, Mandi is the Garden Boss, if the garden fails to produce, it will be her fault Grin

We spent considerable time working the gumbo soil that we live on. Used a cultivator, an offset disc, and a 6' tiller/ rotovater. We spread ~16 cubic yards of manure/ stall cleanings, then tilled that in about 8".

After making our rows, we ended up with 83 rows, that are 40' long.

This week we will bring out an excavator and install  700' of 1-1/2 waterline to keep the garden watered during the heat of the summer.

Here is what we planted
Row #
1-10 = Sweet Corn

11-15 = Bush Beans

16-20 = Anasazi Beans

21 = Jalapeno

22 = Cabbage

23 = Zucchini

24 = Cabbage

25 = Okra

26 = Cucumber - Vining

27 =

28 = Yellow Squash

29 =

30 =

31 = Canteloupe

32 =

33 = Cucumber - Bush type

34-79  = reserved for succession planting of Sweet Corn

80-83 = Watermelon
