The catahoulas are out of some of Red 79's stock.  They are actually half catahoula/half blackmouth.  The pups are only nine months old but they are sure starting to turn into a pair of dogs that guys dream of all their lives.  They have both struck their own hogs, more than once.  Hopefully they are well on their way and have lots of good hunts ahead of them.  They are smart about their work and are very mature dogs for their age.  They absolutely hate a hog, but love hunting.
