if he is wanting to bay the horses, hav you thought of using him as a cattle dog, not a hog dog? i hav a gyp that did the same thing, she would work ever so often and then stop and hang around my feet. now she gets out and hunts, till she tires out and then she hangs close but so do the rest of my dogs
