Here we go. No diesel is great in the mud. 1999 F-350, 7.3l, 6 speed, 4x4, single cab, single wheel. Had over 800,000 miles when it left my place. 2 clutches, a front axle and a set of injectors is all I did beyond regular maintenance. Sold it to by my current rig, 1998 3/4 Dodge with a 12 V and auto. About to roll 150,000 and hope to own it, and keep the body together as many miles as the Ford. Had an 04 Duramax with an Allison. Although it was by far the most comfortable, it wouldn't pull a sick whore off the pot. It's all about preference, and feasability.
