later that day i organised to have another go at going out that next moring and it was agreed that i would meet the same mate at his place for a 0200hrs departure. we arrived at the spot and we were going through the second gate at a set of cattle yards when jet the lead dog bailed off and started working like mad. about 30 seconds later jet had him however this young and fit boar managed to bounce him a couple of times before i was able to get hold of him ( i like it when they keep you on your toes)

this is the cattle yard boar. jet is over a hundred pounds just for reference.

this is the cattle yard boar again. the two pups are getting involved here and that is bob right in his face showing some attitude.

this is the cattle yard boar later in the morning once the sun  had come up and we had gotten out of the bog.
