poor guy, I feel your pain.  I've broken one arm four different times, broke a collarbone, broke my nose three times, dislocated a hip and torn and ACL.  My five year old hasnt had a cast or stitch yet, but I'm waiting for it. 

Hope you get well soon, milk it for all it's worth while tha cast is on there    bent coat hangers work good for scratching casts.
