All good advice to that "loaded" question.  Took one of my best AB CD's almost 2 years before he got solid.  On the other hand I have one at the house who will catch the first hog she sees and she is just a pup with the same father of my male.  I am no AB expert like Scott or some others, but what i did learn was patience and they will come around.  Just boils down to if you want to put the time into a slow starter.  Glad I did because Chief is one of the best I have owned
