Like said alraedy, alot of hunt,alot of nose but not the kinda of dogs to be heavy handed with. The good ones are real good but the bad ones well...you know. I do think they have better noses than alot of cur dogs and as much or more than others as well but can be shy and independent,just depends on who you get them from. I also think they cross well when done right.A good percentage will be open or semi on track as well.
