It aint no sense in a baydog touching a hog period, unless the hog tries to run.  Then its suppose to do its job, stop it and bay it.....  A catchy dog is needed sometimes in a pack because of the different hogs out there, some hogs will not bay and will turn tail and run period....It dont matter if the bay dogs stop it and stop it somemore, it aint gonna fight. Thats when you need one to just grab and hold until you get there.
