If you have one catchy dog in your pack, then the rest better be also. Mixing the two types will have you chasing hogs all over the country.
I personally don't care for them. I'd rather see my curs doing what they were bred for.

Maybe thats why I have such an issue with them. They dont mix good with my other dogs. I have never hunted behind an entire pack of catchy dogs. Maybe I would have a different opinion of them if I did.
There aint much that can piss me off more than a catchy dog running in on a bayed hog, causing it to bust out and head for the next county. One of my gyps did it a few times and I was sick about it. Thank the Lord she grew out of it fast! She will bay a shoalt now.
