I just got back from taking Kajun to the vet. His nuts werent as swollen this morning, but the vet was able to see what I was talking about. She deals with several hog hunters and mentioned that brucellosis is uncommon around these parts but not unheard of. She drew blood and is sending it off to some lab in Texas. I think Texas A&M. I should know something next week. She mentioned that with the onset of brucellosis their is usually an increase in temp and his temp is normal. Ill be checking it often to try to catch it fast. thanks guys for the comments and concern. Ill let yall know next week when we get the results back.
Mike,
If a dog does have it and is able to fight it and keep his nuts, can it reappear? Can they be bred? Just curious and the vet had to see a hurt horse so I wasnt able to ask all of the questions that I wanted to. Thanks again
