If you are talking about weights on animals, its kinda like judging, you have to weight a few different body types and get some practice in. different muscle type, body, types and bone structres are all gonna factor, is the body length long and narrow, short and thick, thick boned or petite.
I have dogs in my own yard that are same height and length that will be a good 20 lbs difference.
The same applies to hog weights, body length and girth vary alot from hog to hog and can throw you way off if you have not practiced by putting many on an accurate scale, but I think its a fun to get everybodys guess before revealing the scaled weight.
