Dub, when the hog is standing and fighting he will look way bigger, you see a hog running across a clearing he will have his back arched an they look taller, when a hog rubs a tree/post the arch their backs, when the are mad/challenging they raise their mane/ hackles and look taller, but once they are dead ,or tied on the ground they don't look as big. You can pose one for the cameras and depending on the angle of the picture and the camera person can add 50+ just by knowingh how to put the right angle on it. put practicing with a scale and making a point to look at the girth and lenghth and condition of the hog is the only way to get good as guessing the hogs weight.
