I cannot edit on my phone, so please excuse the back to back posts.
Our puppies are bobbed if they aren't naturals when they are young and they donot have balance issues...we have one dog that has a nub because the band was placed too short and manuevers great (he is also the 3 legged one). I have always been told you cannot bob an older dogs tail b/c they are already used to balancing with it BUT someone dispeled that as a game dog rumor on another post out of their own experience.
