Bet that ruined him for hog hunting

I am sure he thinks twice about holding another big one by himself if he ever goes back...I know from ours I will not be part of loading a fresh hog with just me and the husband, weve loaded trailer fulls by our selves but I am leery now but maybe that is the female in me lol   Cheesy

It is 10,000 wonders it didnt hit his jugular, he definately had an angel with him that night.  I wonder if it will/can affect his ear drum.... All I can say is BLEACH and good luck on a speedy recovery!!

I made the boys let me cut a hog a while back because I wasnt confident in the guy helping to hold it with me....now when it is just us or just him the motto is "when in doubt kill it".

A person is a whole different story compared to a dog, I was there to watch when they sewed my husband's leg up (after numerous trips to the vet I KNEW how it was supposed to be done lol and at that hospital you cant be too lax - we lucked up with an awesome nurse) and I will never forget it.  They gave him a shot to knock him out and she had to stick her finger knuckle deep in his leg to clean it out and he shot up like a cannon from the pain and was in/out of consciouness the whole time......the poor little EMT that was watching almost passed out   I wish I would have got a picture of it before they closed it up because here it actually looks "good".

Everyone loves a good scar cause there is a crazy story that goes behind it!
