We're having the same trouble. We found that running only one loose bay dog tends to do best. We've tried a pack of ten dogs together, running catch dogs, nothing seemed to work. Everytime one dog would bay, the hog would stay. As soon as another dog got there, the hog was gone and never looked back. Started running one dog, and lead in catch dog. Have to be quite and don't spook the hog on your way in. If the catchdog misses, kiss the hog goodbye. Don't know if this will work for you, but worth a try.
