I believe it depends on the type of hogs your puttin your dogs on but i dont think there is a right or wrong answer to this either.I have hunted with both rough and loose baying dogs and here lately ive caught more with loose bayin dogs on a running hog place which is totally weird. So try both. If its a small pig they should catch it no matter what anyways. So use your best judgement on it.
