They're 3/4 yellow cur(block head stock dog type) x 1/4 english pointer.(3/4 sister to my Snappa dog) Both sides of the family have been exclusive hog dogs for generations. Mom and dad(both 75# dogs) are one out type curs that catch most everything unless its rank. To this day they're both still catching hogs every night in south Florida.
Out of the last three litters(from 2 half pointer sisters) the majority of the pups are rough with a good nose, the only variables seem to be which dogs get the great nose(pointer influence) and which ones will bay(not very many
).
