I have hunted with US Hog and I have seen them hunt. That is why I want to get some. I am not sure they are better than a cur at finding. But having the catch dog at the bay is good. I just don't hear them bark. So run a cur or two so you can hear the bay. The hunting ability is more important than being the biggest. But put 100 lbs on each ear and a cur baying, life is good. It is just a lot of time and food to get them there. But after watching them hunt I think it will be worth it.
