The best advice you can get regarding any dog/breed/bloodlines you are interested in is to go see the stock for yourself. Evaluate them in the woods, and not just once, or one breeder. Visit/hunt with several, that way you know exactly what you should get. Keep in mind, there are culls in every single litter...stack the deck in your favor by doing the research before you obtain the dog/pup.
