There is no question the Ranger has more performance than the Mule. ie top end, smoother suspension, and more ground clearance. Can't beat the Ranger for hauling butt across a rough pasture either. I think of the Mule like more of a workhorse, and less of a fun machine. The Ranger is probable the best blend of utility and performance...and that is hard for me to say, because I really don't like Polaris products
....and I almost bought one a month ago...
I feel ya on that man...I was die hard Suzuki guy and then I broke an axle and borrowed my firends P-holarius as I once called them and sold my Suzuki and never owned another type of four wheeler again. If you go to Polaris I believe you will never go back. Just what happened to me.
