I called him at dark last night and it had just gotten too dark to rope yearlings anymore.
They were just pulling out of the pasture headed home.
Said it was hurting like heck and he was going home to doctor on it some more.
Main concern was no feeling in the entire finger.
Said he'd be fine, it was his middle finger, so if he lost it, he could do without it.
.....never known him to use that one anyway, if you know what I mean.
Trying to get pictures from phone so he can post them, but has trouble typing.
After hearing the story, I sure wish I was there when it happened.
