Personally i like to get them off as soon as i can thats why i dont turn my catchdog loose until i can see the hog or i am very close but if it is a runner or one that has been running or keeps breaking i turn them loose as soon as i hear a good bay but i only turn loose my leggy bulldog on those occasions.
