MINE .. This is an opinion question and no right or wrong answer but the most common are the cur dogs,, catahoula, black mouth , and usually a mixture of some kind between those... However there is always a better dog in either breed of any kind , it is just preference and getting the job done.. However if i had to choos one of the most consistant breeds that I HAVE SEEN!! It would be the Parker Cur However own a catahoula that is just as good..
