Very common! You first need to figure out why he is peeing in the bowl. How long of a chain is he on? Dog usually do not want to pee or deficate where they eat or sleep unless it has become a habit from a young age due to being confined in to small of a space with it's littermates and mother. The easiest solution is to pick up the bowl after he is done with it and he will stop his ritual. He could also be just claiming his bowl and to solve this you need to show him it is your bowl!
