I have used a Jagd for awhile.I dont think I would run a pack of them.I like to use one with my dogs. They are very handy in the thickets. And thats really what made me get one.I think they are pretty consistant as far as making a useable dog.I have not seen the good nose like I hear alot. But I have not seen a good nose on most cur dogs around either. Most have been hot nosed, and the ones I've been around would take a cutting and not blink a eye.Lots of hunt and hustle.Plenty of bottom and never had any trouble keeping up with curs or hounds. My old male is 9 or 10,but has been retired along time.He would try to catch anything he found. It made a cripple out of him.I have a young gyp that bays real nice. Not near as rough a dog.I am no expert, and have only been around a handfull of Jagds.I dont think I will ever be without one.My old male is the smartest dog I've ever owned.I think they can bring alot to the table.
