I can see why people would need a combination of dogs or help dogs to get the kind of results they are looking for to put an end to a hog.

I can also see why they are the 1st ones culled or sold as "help dogs" once they have a dog or dogs that do it all. 

There was a time when all of my dogs were help dogs. Loose just one out of the pack and I couldn’t buy a hog much less get one bayed.
