It's kind of like one of those heart warming animal movies where a dog does amazing things and overcomes impossible odds. People like to watch that kind of stuff ,myself included,and it just makes you feel good even though most know it could never happen.
A buddy of mine is a K-9 officer and trainer and he also trains cadaver dogs. The cadaver dogs can find bodies under water and underground and they can do some impressive things but nothing anywhere even close to the stories they report about them on the local news and the writeups in the paper.
Some first hand knowledge and experiences of how different things are in reality compared to what is reported on the news and in the papers will make you forever question ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you hear on a news channel or read in a newspaper..
