The 06 Dodge 5.9, 3500 is hard to beat. Thats what we have and it has held up great with 17mpg on average. We have owned ford, chevy, gmc, nissan, toyota, and this truck has been the best workhorse we have ever owned hands down.

Cant agrue with that Dinah! stick-n-move have one with twice the mileage on it as my truck and if was a 4x4 I would trade him out even if he was dumb enough to do it! Even if he was, his wife aint!  Grin She has been pulling a 50' 5 horse cowboy condo all over Texas for years in that truck and I dont think she will part with it for nothing!

Thanks again dangerzone! So whats the story on the new 2011 6.7L Cummings? A salesman was telling me last week that Dodge has replaced the old 6.7L with a modified 5.9L making it a 6.7L. Results - Less maintenace required!!! He was a salesman though.
