Dont know much about them, but I do know that the Aussies do use them over there, but I dont think that those kind of crosses, much less a dane would fair good in E. Texas or N.W. Louisiana wildcat thickets.  A dog that size gets up in there with a 150lb boar with an 1"1/4 teeth or better that knows how to use them would probaly endup looking like frankenstein if not dead.  JMO
