A Lot Of Trot - but all run together and spelled the way it sounds.... Aladatrot. I trained arabian and half arabian rail horses and halter horses and showed all over the country. Within that breed, the higher and bigger motion in the trot in Halter and Saddleseat events (English riding, but think saddlebred type movement) the better. Some people call it having high action, a big trot, a huge trot, but I always called it having A Lot of Trot.
I bet there were plenty of folks out there wondering where I came up with such a crazy name, but it's pretty simple once you think about it.
