First of all...it was WRONG for this guy to shoot your dog. But even if he is prosecuted it wont bring your dog back. This is a very sad deal. This is why we are very careful not to let our dogs encounter deer hunters during deer season. Dogs dont know anything about bounderies or how much money people spend to go out and kill a deer so we have to protect them. Shooting a dog for treaspassing is illegal but putting someone behind bars wont bring the shot dog back. JMO...
