Last weekend I had a couple of my dogs out and they went further out than I expected and ended up under a man and his wife in their deer stand.  After following the garmin through some back roads I found them at his house and he wasn't real happy.  He said they were almost shot because he has had a lot of problems with hog doggers cutting fences and trespassing on his property.  After talking with him and telling him I would never do that and that he wouldn't see my dogs on his property again he was more friendly.  I would have been upset if he shot my dogs but I blame hog doggers that cut fences and have no respect for others property as much as I do land owners that shoot dogs.  I'd be willing to bet there would be less dogs shot if land owners didn't have to deal with the people that give hog doggers a bad name.  Just my .02.
