Suggestion: you might already do this but just in case you don't, make sure the female poses before making the trip. I rub my hand up along her rear leg toward the base of her tail and see how she responds. If I get the right response I make the trip, or you can test her with a short dog.
Another thing, did someone witness a tie with the two dogs?
If she has never been bred before I would breed her the first time close to home to make sure she is fertile.
She wasnt actually in heat when i took her down there, just due to come in. He sent me a pic of them tied.
That was my mistake and lesson learned, defenitly should have at least took her to the vet and had her checked out before jumping the gun, but whats the odds?

he told me that they done that too, to be on the safe side. but i get what your saying, to have it shipped. I think i might just try to get a pup or something, i think im about done with this female.
But having said all of this i am not 100% sure yet, just 99%. Her due date is in 2 1/2 weeks, the week before christmas, and she is not showing any signs at all.
