I think the key is a dog that knows when to to put his mouth on a hog and when to back off. Only putting enough pressure on the hog to hold it there. On the same note, i wouldnt feed a dog that NEVER puts his mouth on a hog. nothing like walking two miles to a dog bayed on a tiny shoat!!!
