Boarninja, Foots mom came from some of Jimmy Thorntons stock (all hog dogs) over in Moss Hill and his daddy belonged to Marlene Henery (she is front desk clerk for Dr. Hall in Dayton). She kept her daddy's old hog dog blood line going from back when they used to herd wild hogs to market. We didn't get him until he was a year and a half. He was given to a girl as a pet back when he was just a small pup. When we got him, we put him in a pen with a hog to see what he would do and he bayed it. So we took him to the woods a few days later and he bayed a hog and we've been catching hogs with him ever since.
Thanks Dinah. I remember you saying that before but I wasnt sure which dog of yours it was. I sure like him!
