Ive never really had a problem with worms but about a month ago two of my three have been having what looks like little pieces of rice in the stool. They are both drawn down and have lost some weight. I always wormed on the 1st wih ivomec and just recetly added safeguard last month when i noticied the "rice" in thier poop. My dogs look like crap and ts driving me nuts. Ive upped their feed but is not helping much. Anyone have any suggestions??
yep , you got tape worms,, well since im not a vet and i dont want to experement with my good dogs, i get the pills at the vet for tapes, just tell the vet how much your dogs weighs.. i do the same thing ivomec at the 1st of the month, but when i see tapes i go to the vet and get some pills, also make shure you dont have any fleas they transfer the tape worm eggs..
im not saying anyone is wrong. just my .02
