I wasted a lot of good money trying to buy good dogs. You can't buy really good dogs. Forget the names because you can't buy them. Start helping people getting muddy and doing what is asked. You will get offered some good dogs from people you get to know. They should not cost much. People with good dogs bread them for hunting. They do not want them going to a person that hunts a few times and gets bored. Then they just leave the dog in the yard and good dogs want to hunt more than most people so the dog is miserable. The more you hunt the better the dogs you get offered. So stop looking for dogs and go look for hogs. If you think you can go buy good dogs you will learn just like I did that it does not happen. I know what names should come up. I would cull every dog I have just to get two of the really good ones.
