Hey Waylon, it is about 4 years old.  It works extremely well and I have used it out to 4-500 yards without a problem, I am sure it will go further but I like to see what they are doing before I start juicing them.  I charge the night before I hunt and it will last for several days depending on how much you use it.  However if you leave it in your tool box for a fwe weeks and try to use it won't be nearly as stong.  I never use it higher then the # or #4, as your buddy Chris use to say "#6 will give an elephant a heart attack" haha.  With it on 3 or 4 it is kinda like the dog hitting the end of a very long chain.
