yea i have tried dogs from all the surrounding states and have been dissipointed everythime when i got home some i took back and some i just culled to keep someone else from getting screwed over, but everybody buying a dog needs to remember, people that hog hunt are not gonna sell a good dog or one that has good potential because they hunt, and if they just did happen to sell a dog one of their buddys would get first chance on buying it, not some guy they dont know, i think the best thing to do is get a puppy and start hunting with someone with good dogs and it may take several puppys or buy from someone getting out of hunting, and if its one thing people will lie about its a dog, i have hauled my share of dogs across the country and wont go get another one, i get mad everytime i think about it, but i raised some and are satisfied with them
