There are a bunch of  Florida cracker hisotry and cow working and hog dogging books at a Western Wear Store Called Byrds Western Wear close to Melborne off of 192, i bought about 5 there and there were kewl, there are also a lot of cracker books and dog books at Claremont Florida lake county at the old Citrus Tower book store, lots of the best hard to find doging books i have came from that place in new mexico owned by the greyhound lurcher guy, i thinking his website is called HighLOnesome, or something like that, he adveries about 4 times a year in the Full Cry Magazine, lots of boar and bear dog books from the Carolians about Plotts on his book list, in San Antonio there is a antique book store by the old Zoo and playland park, i bought a lot of vintage dog/texas/hill county/ old yellar lacy books and catahoula bok from ARF foundation from it, they get them from yard sales and estate sales, always cheap and off the wall weird one run publicions about texas la and okla mostly,  anybody know the name of this bookstore, i cant remeber it to google and post the link, anybody read or collect all of Obe Corys Books about dogs especially the early descritions of texas bred dogs, i have all of them here somewhere i think still, his family had abotu 500 of them left when he died and i thought somebody could call his boys and try to buy them for reasle and to get the history out and his writings, he was a real dogman for sure and one of my idols, he loved treeing Lacys and had the Trimlbe strain i think, not sure, they were about died out when i met him and went looking with him for some in Freciksriksburg texas way back.  Somebody swears the Bandera cowboy muesum has the book for sale when i called they had no idea who he was or any notion of the 6 books he wrote about dogs, lion hunting lacys etc etc, what a shame too.
